LOCAL:

Serving and impacting others through outreach can be a life changing experience.  We always believe that we can do greater things when we come together, than when we serve alone.  Each year Crossroads finds ways to serve and partner with local organizations in order to spread the gospel and make a difference in our community.

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen - On the third Friday of every month our church serves dinner in the soup kitchen at the LaPorte Salvation Army. If you are looking for a place to serve, this is a great opportunity to bless others with the love of Jesus by making a meal.  Mathew 25:35  "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink...."

Bundle Up La Porte - We join together with local businesses and other churches to collect and distribute winter clothing for children in our community.   Mathew 25:36 "....I was shivering and you gave me clothes..."

Revive Indiana Evangelism Outreach - Crossroads is a participant in the evangelistic outreach that equips Christians to share the Gospel throughout Northwest Indiana.  Along with sending out mission teams, our church helps to provide meals for the Revive events.   Mark 16:15 "and He told them, Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone."

Fellowship Fest -This is a free community-wide event that takes place at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds each year.  It's a family festival filled with activities for all ages! Food, live music, kids zone and more.  The Fellowship Fest continues to grow and reach more people each year with the message of Christ's love.  Our church volunteers in various areas of this outreach.

Community Missions -Crossroads donates to several non-profit organizations in LaPorte including: Women's Care Center, Pax Center, Campus Life Ministry, and the Salvation Army.

GLOBAL:

Crossroads supports missions around the world, observing the Great Commission by taking the Gospel "to the ends of the earth"  Acts 1:8

INDIA – Share In Asia

We have partnered with Pastor Andrew Prakasam in building churches in India. Crossroads has been blessed to finance the construction of two churches – in Kattumannarkoil and Bangalore.   We continue to pray for the pastors and the people in India and believe to continue sowing seed there.

We also support the Tsunami Relief Home, an orphanage in Sirkali. This home cares for 25 orphans who lost their parents, siblings and their houses in the dreadful storm. They are given food, shelter and sent to schools for education.

 AFRICA - Harvest Christian Ministries

Pastor Fred Muyimba is the founder of Harvest Christian Ministries.  He oversees more than 20 churches in Uganda, Africa and continues to train up local pastors and build churches in villages throughout the region.  Harvest Christian Ministries has also built a school and an orphanage and provides food and shelter to the needy and homeless. Crossroads partners with Pastor Fred and his wife Grace in providing financial support for these projects.

UKRAINE - Markus and Helen Wolf

Markus is the Children's Ministry Coordinator at the International Christian Assembly in the capital city of Kiev.   Along with serving in the church, he and his wife Helen work with local orphanages and Gypsy camps sharing the Gospel and providing for the needs of the people. Crossroads sponsors Markus and Helen monthly with a financial gift.
